I want to be elected because I care deeply about the suburb I call home. I’ve seen the challenges our community faces, but also the opportunities we have to grow stronger together. I’m passionate about supporting local businesses, encouraging healthier, more active lifestyles, and protecting our green spaces. By listening and working alongside residents, I hope to make a real, positive difference for our community.
I am a community-focused and reliable professional with strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. I value collaboration, transparency, and fairness, and bring experience in listening to diverse perspectives, building consensus, and making informed decisions. With a commitment to accountability and positive outcomes, I aim to represent and serve the community effectively while fostering trust and progress.
1. Local Business - I support thriving local businesses that strengthen our economy, create jobs, and build community identity. 2. Active Population - I believe in encouraging recreation and well-being through accessible facilities and opportunities for all ages. 3. Green Space - I am committed to preserving and enhancing green spaces for a healthier environment and future generations.
I believe Auckland’s transport must balance the needs of all users. While cycling and bus lanes may have their place, car owners should not be overlooked. Given our city’s spread, mass transit will work best focused on the city centre rather than suburbs. I support improving roads, targeted public transport, and safe, practical options for walking and cycling, ensuring an efficient, fair, and connected system that meets the needs of the whole community.
Auckland’s water must be managed sustainably to ensure supply, quality, and resilience. I support investing in efficient water infrastructure, protecting waterways from pollution, and implementing effective stormwater and wastewater management. Promoting conservation, modern treatment systems, and community awareness can safeguard water resources. By balancing development with environmental care, we can ensure clean, reliable water for both people and ecosystems now and in the future.
I support growth and the development of new ideas while cherishing and preserving Auckland’s historical aspects. Smart, sustainable development can provide more housing and improved infrastructure without losing the city’s unique character. By valuing heritage alongside innovation, we can create vibrant, liveable communities that respect the past, meet present needs, and build a strong foundation for the future.
I believe protecting and enhancing Auckland’s natural spaces is vital for biodiversity and climate resilience. I support expanding and connecting green spaces, restoring native habitats, and planting trees. Sustainable development and community-led conservation projects can reduce environmental impact. By prioritising climate-smart policies, we can safeguard ecosystems, improve air and water quality, and create resilient, healthy spaces for current and future generations.
I plan to build strong, connected communities by fostering open communication, supporting local events, and encouraging collaboration between residents, businesses, and organisations. I will advocate for accessible, well-maintained facilities and services that meet diverse needs, from recreation to health. By prioritising inclusion, engagement, and well-being, I aim to create a community where everyone feels valued, connected, and supported in daily life.
I want to boost economic growth by supporting local businesses and creating opportunities for everyone in our community. By promoting local markets, events, and collaborations, we can strengthen connections and keep money within the community. Celebrating our cultural heritage through festivals, art, and local initiatives helps build pride and identity, creating a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient community where everyone can thrive.
I am committed to representing all voices in our community, regardless of where people were born. I support Māori outcomes by working in partnership and respecting Te Tiriti, while ensuring decisions benefit everyone. The Port of Auckland should be managed sustainably, the Auckland Future Fund grown responsibly, and storm recovery planned inclusively. My focus is fairness, collaboration, and building a resilient, connected community for all residents.
