I am proud Pakuranga resident of 25 years. I hold a masters degree in economics from the University of Auckland and am the founder of ShareBoating, a bilingual platform recognised with national awards for innovation in New Zealand business I currently serve on the boards of Farm Cove Intermediate School, Uxbridge Arts & Culture Centre, and as training manager for the Saint Kentigern College Sailing Team. I also served six terms as a board member at Buckland Beach Yacht Club. Previously, I was Deputy Chair of the Botany Community Board and a member of the Howick local Board, where I delivered lasting initiatives that benefited our community. I bring a proven track record to advocate for better transport, a safer Pakuranga, and a more integrated, well-represented community. I will stand as a voice for you. I will be accessible to you. I will be committed to a better Pakuranga.
I want to keep Pakuranga liveable and connected. I’ll push for a review of high-density zoning, support schools, arts, and sports, upgrade parks, and ensure council decisions reflect residents’ needs. Your accessible, experienced voice on the board.
I bring 25 years of local knowledge, leadership on local school boards, arts and sports organisations, and proven experience on Howick local boards. I hold a Master of Commerce from the University of Auckland, Skilled in community engagement, problem-solving, and strategic planning, I am accessible, accountable, and committed to delivering practical solutions and a stronger, connected Pakuranga.
High-density housing review: Urgently review zoning and planning in Half Moon Bay, Farm Cove, and Sunnyhill to ensure growth is sustainable and infrastructure-ready. I will advocate for safer, less congested streets, improved bus services, better walking and cycling options, and infrastructure that meets Pakuranga families’ needs while keeping our community connected and accessible. Better public transport: Support more frequent, reliable bus services that connect Pakuranga residents with schools, shops, and work. Safer streets and Pakuranga night market: Improve road safety, particularly around schools and community hubs, with better crossings, lighting
I will work to secure reliable, affordable water, reduce pollution in the Tamaki River and Half Moon Bay, upgrade stormwater to prevent flooding, and ensure wastewater is managed responsibly for our residents.
I support balanced growth: reviewing high-density zoning in Half Moon Bay, Farm Cove, and Sunnyhill, protecting Pakuranga’s character, and ensuring housing is backed by infrastructure and community needs.
I will protect parks, beaches, and reserves, enhance biodiversity through education, planting, and restoration, improve flood and stormwater resilience, and ensure green spaces are safe, accessible, and preserved for future generations.
I will build a connected Pakuranga by supporting schools, youth programs, arts, and sports clubs like BBYC and Uxbridge. I’ll advocate for upgraded parks, playgrounds, and community facilities, promote health, safety, and volunteering, and ensure council decisions reflect residents’ needs. Accessible, responsive, and committed to a vibrant, inclusive community.
Drawing on my award-winning business experience, I will back local enterprises, connect services, and foster initiatives that celebrate Pakuranga’s cultural heritage while growing the economy responsibly.
I will ensure council decisions are transparent, practical, and benefit all Pakuranga residents. I support strong partnerships with local iwi, responsible management of the Port of Auckland, sustainable use of the Auckland Future Fund, and effective storm recovery. My focus is on outcomes that protect our community, environment, and infrastructure while respecting local heritage and diversity.
