My experience as a lawyer helps me understand governance, laws, and good decision making skills. I have great interpersonal skills. Active listening to understand diverse community perspective.
Manage rapid population growth and infrastructure capacity. Transport - essential for Aucklanders. Protect local communities and enviornment.
Improve everyday mobility and support broader regional development.
Invest further in rainwater harvesting,reuse, and explore better options. Encourage efficieny through households and businesses. Auckland is vulnerable to flooding, encourage more green infrastructure, gardens etc.
Auckland faces high demand for housing but supply has lagged and pushed prices up. I believe in supporting well designed intensification near towns and transport hubs. Encourage affordable housing partnerships.
Expand native planting. Promote green corridors,community gardens and parks in community.
Introduce multi-use community hubs. Invest in upgrading facilities to be more accessible, welcoming and sustainable.
Investing in street upgrades,safety and transport centre's. Partner with local businesses and local campaigns.
Expand funding for reo Maori,kapa haka and schools and communities.
