Candidate for Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board (Tāmaki Subdivision)
Independent
I am a proud Aucklander originally from Pukekohe. Through my life and career, I've learnt the importance of taking opportunities and not standing in the background. Tāmaki is a unique part of Auckland with vital rail links, growing commercial precincts, rich waterways and important social housing initiatives. I care deeply about my community and want to ensure we are asking the right questions for all of us. If elected I will: Advocate for safer public transport; Support planting and restoration of reserves and waterways; Work closely with the Tāmaki Regeneration Programme and other build partners. In my 20+ years in business, I have built a career around bringing people together through strong relationships. I have expert knowledge of the public sector, having worked in the Counties Manukau and Auckland DHBs and various Public Service roles. I am enthused to run for council and would appreciate your vote. Vote BF
