I’m a passionate advocate for thriving communities, with a strong background in education, governance and Tiriti-based leadership. A former teacher, I now serve on the Board of MOTAT and as Chair of Playcentre Aotearoa, supporting more than 14,000 whānau across the country. As Principal Advisor to the Independent Māori Statutory Board, I worked to improve Council systems to better serve Māori and our communities. The Portage Licensing Trust plays a key role in managing community-owned assets and returning profits to benefit local people. I’m proud to stand with a team who successfully secured the Living Wage for all our hospitality and retail staff. We are committed to building a fairer, community-focused future.
