Why I want to be elected

I would advocate to stop wasteful spending , unlock the grid, improve safety and security in streets and on public transport , saving our parking and reducing parking fees to improve access to centre city and other suburbs being affected. Keeping weekly rubbish collections. Protection of our character and parks. LISTENING TO THE COMMUNITY. Advocate for free de-sexing and microchipping of cats to reduce the stray cat population and enforceable by-laws to protect our animals from cruelty.

My key skills and qualities

I was immersed in a family business from birth with a hardworking ethic, hold a Bachelor of Commerce and I was a pioneer in credit card manufacturing for Australasia becoming the first female Public company director in NZ. For many years I've been importing Champagne and barrels for the NZ wine industry I bring strong ethics, common sense , experience, perseverance reliability and strong people skills. I'm a doer not a talker, a giver not a taker and I get things done. You can count on me.

My top three key issues

I have seen the decline in the level of core services and infrastructure and the wasteful spending. Traffic congestion, crime and unrealistic idealism particularly in the centre city are damaging our businesses and undermining our quality of life. Accessibility through lack of /or too expensive parking is an issue. Lets stop BUREAUCRACY running our lives. Enforceable bylaws to protect our animals against cruelty need to be addressed particularly re our cats who are constantly under attack.
