I grew up in Grey Lynn and now reside in Herne Bay. I am a successful financial adviser and a former police officer. Throughout my life, I have been passionate about serving my community through my active involvement in numerous local organisations and as an elected member of the Western Bays Community Board, Auckland Council and the Waitematā Local Board. If re-elected, I will support further investment in our cultural and sporting organisations, community facilities and parks. I will also fight to protect our unique shopping precincts, our built heritage and historic residential areas and our natural environment. I will work to make the City Centre a safe and welcoming place for visitors, shoppers, business owners and residents, and I will support initiatives to increase the visibility of the Police there and to ensure the issues around the homeless and rough sleepers are properly addressed. Vote Greg Moyle and C&R.
I will continue to serve my community to the best of my ability to ensure that sensible decisions are made that result in a benefit to the residents of the Waitemata Local Board area.
I have qualifications in accounting, law and financial advice. In addition, I have considerable experience over almost 40 years in governance. I am a team player and seek outcomes that are in the best interests of our community. I have a wide range of connections through my long involvement in local body politics and other community organsisations including Rotary, Mt Albert Grammar School, Ranfurly Veterans' Trust, Heart of the City, NZ Police and NZ Army.

Access for everyone on our roads - share the space.
We need to ensure the safety and availability of our drinking water supply. We need to protect our harbour and ensure wastewater and sewerage are properly dealt with.
We need to plan for population growth by ensuring that the appropriate infrastructure is in place and, at the same time, protect the heritage of our special character areas.
It is important to protect our waterways, encourage riparian planting and reforestation of areas, where suitable, with native trees, e.g. the Western Springs Urban Native Forest.
I support the provision of libraries and community centres to provide essential services to our community. Also, I support community groups that foster cultural and community connections.
I support the business improvement districts (BIDS) within the Waitemata Local Board area as a means of ensuring the economic viability and success of our local businesses.
All the above are essential activities of the governing body, which I support.
