I am an independent film producer, property and hotel development advisor, and a long-time community contributor running for the Waitematā Local Board. I have lived in Parnell with my Kiwi husband and our son for 12 years, this is the place we proudly and wholeheartedly call home. I understand the real challenges our community faces — from housing pressures and urban density to street safety, sustainability, and the need for a true sense of belonging. I honour the past while embracing the future, celebrate diversity while striving for true inclusion. To me, balance means listening deeply, connecting perspectives, and bridging reason with empathy. I stand with the community — because the community stands with me. I’m here to amplify fresh, underrepresented voices and to help shape a stronger, fairer, and more harmonious Waitematā — together.
I want to be elected to give our community a strong, practical voice. I’m committed to protecting our neighborhoods’ character, improving transport and housing, and making sure residents’ concerns—like rates and local planning—are heard and acted on. I will work tirelessly to find solutions that improve everyday life and help our city thrive.
I know central Auckland well and understand its communities. I have project management and computer skills to handle complex tasks efficiently. With experience in real estate, property development, and hotel/tourism management, I understand housing and development issues. I am learning Te Reo Māori and connect with diverse cultures, enabling me to listen, understand, and deliver practical, inclusive solutions.
1) I support the Auckland Future Fund to build the Waitematā Harbour Crossing and other essential infrastructure, improving transport and easing ratepayer costs; 2)Oppose PC78 to protect historic and special character areas while allowing density in suitable locations; 3) Revitalise Auckland’s city centre by attracting international arts, culture, sports, and film projects to bring people together, create jobs and boost the economy. I’m passionate because these improve life for a better future.
My priority is to give Waitematā residents real transport choices. Roads and public transport must work as an integrated system, so commuting is efficient and reliable. Cycling lanes and walking paths should be well-planned, safe, and connected, encouraging sustainable travel. The Waitematā Harbour Crossing is urgent to reduce congestion and improve connectivity across the city. Together, these measures make daily travel easier, greener, and more accessible for everyone.
I believe Auckland’s water must be managed sustainably and safely. We need a reliable supply for all residents while protecting rivers and harbours from pollution. Stormwater and wastewater systems should be upgraded to prevent flooding and contamination, using smart, future-proof technology. Protecting water quality is essential for public health, the environment, and our city’s long-term resilience.
I support smart, balanced urban development in Auckland. Housing and infrastructure must meet growing demand, but not at the cost of our heritage and special character areas. Development should be carefully planned—higher density in suitable locations, while protecting historic streetscapes. Upgrading infrastructure and transport systems alongside growth ensures our city remains livable, vibrant, and connected for everyone.
I want to protect and enhance Auckland’s natural spaces by conserving parks, waterways, and coastal areas. Supporting biodiversity means planting native species, controlling pests, and creating wildlife corridors. Climate resilience requires planning for sea-level rise, flooding, and extreme weather, while promoting sustainable transport and green infrastructure. Together, these actions keep Auckland healthy, liveable, and beautiful for future generations.
I plan to build strong, connected communities by investing in local services, facilities, and programs that meet residents’ needs. This includes supporting libraries, community centres, sports and arts spaces, and programs for seniors to stay active and engaged. I want to help new migrants settle and thrive, celebrate diverse cultures, and respect Māori and local traditions. Listening to residents and responding to their concerns strengthens community wellbeing and pride for everyone.
My vision is to boost Auckland’s economy by supporting local businesses, attracting investment, creating jobs, and revitalising tourism. I want to promote our cultural heritage through arts, film, sports, and international events, as culture is a key part of our economic soft power. By balancing growth with heritage protection and community participation, we can create opportunities, showcase our unique identity, and ensure economic benefits reach everyone.
I believe in well-managed local government that works with Māori communities to protect cultural heritage—he taonga o Aotearoa te ahurea Māori. I support responsible management of the Port of Auckland to balance economic growth with environmental and community interests. Expanding the Auckland Future Fund ensures sustainable funding for essential projects. I also back effective storm recovery planning to keep residents and infrastructure safe.
