As a proud long-time resident of Whau, I'm deeply committed to our community. My children attend local schools and play sports here, and I'm passionate about giving back to the place we call home. As a finance professional and owner of a Driving Miss Daisy franchise, I'm dedicated to supporting our diverse and vibrant community for future generations. I serve on the Auckland Council's Ethnic Communities Advisory Panel, the Waitākere Ethnic Board, and the Auckland Interfaith Council. Currently training to become a Justice of Peace, I speak four languages, allowing me to connect with and advocate for people from all backgrounds. As a Board Member of the Whau River Catchment Trust, I contribute to environmental efforts including tree planting and river restoration in Whau. I believe in a fresh, positive, inclusive future. Your Vote for me is for one that listens and represents. Whau Labour is your progressive local voice.

From my discussions with Whau community, the key issues am focused on : expanding green spaces, supporting local businesses, creating vibrant public places and healthy environments. I’m passionate about building a safe, inclusive neighbourhood, empowering youth - promoting their development, and protecting our unique spaces—like saving the Avondale Markets. Further more I will advocate for accessible, reliable public transport for all. Together, we can build a equitable, thriving & connected Whau
Auckland’s transport future must prioritize frequent, reliable, and affordable public transport to reduce congestion, lower emissions, and connect communities. Investment should focus on expanding bus and train services, improving infrastructure, and ensuring accessibility. While cycling and walking are important, the emphasis must be on creating a strong public transport network that offers a real alternative to private car use. Free public transport for school students boosts future ridership.
Auckland must secure a sustainable water future through investment in resilient infrastructure, including drought-proof water supply, advanced wastewater treatment, and natural stormwater systems. Protecting water quality is vital—urban growth must not come at the expense of our harbours and waterways. Integrated, climate-resilient planning and community education are essential for long-term water security.Water is precious — protect supply, quality, and infrastructure for future resilience.
Auckland’s urban development must balance growth with livability. We need more affordable, well-designed housing near public transport and jobs, supported by strong infrastructure. Intensification should be smart and sustainable, with green spaces and community amenities. At the same time, we must protect cultural and heritage sites, ensuring development respects local identity and history. Growth should build a more inclusive, resilient, and connected Tamaki Makaurau.Smart growth builds strong.
Tamaki Makaurau must protect and restore its natural spaces to support biodiversity and climate resilience. This means expanding native tree planting, restoring wetlands, and safeguarding ecologically sensitive areas. Urban development should include green corridors and nature-based solutions to manage flooding and heat. We must reduce emissions, support local conservation efforts, and ensure all communities have access to clean, healthy natural environments now and for our future generations.
To build strong, connected communities in Auckland, we need inclusive planning that reflects local voices. Investment in accessible public spaces, libraries, sports facilities, and cultural centres which fosters belonging and wellbeing. Local services should meet the diverse needs of all ages and backgrounds, with support for mental health, youth, and seniors. Better public transport, digital access, and community-led initiatives will strengthen connections and resilience across Tamaki Makaurau.
Auckland’s economic growth should be inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven. Supporting local businesses through grants, training, and accessible commercial spaces will boost resilience and jobs. Investment in innovation, green industries, and creative sectors can future-proof the economy. Celebrating and promoting our rich cultural heritage—Māori, Pasifika, and multicultural—will strengthen identity, attract tourism, and create more opportunities rooted in local pride and our diversity.
To deliver strong Māori outcomes, Tamaki Makaurau must prioritise genuine partnerships with iwi and Māori-led organisations, supporting tino rangatiratanga, te reo Māori, and Māori economic development. The Port of Auckland should transition toward sustainable operations, with long-term relocation considered. Growing the Auckland Future Fund requires careful, transparent investment. Storm recovery efforts must be climate-resilient, community-focused, and equitably delivered across all suburbs.
