Papatoetoe Subdivision of the Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board
Following the voiding of the Papatoetoe Subdivision of the Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board election held on 11 October 2025, a new election is to occur on Thursday 9 April 2026.
Notice is therefore given under section 65 of the Local Electoral Act 2001, that the following persons have been duly nominated for the four vacancies:

As there are more candidates than there are vacancies to be filled, an election will be held between the listed candidates on Thursday 9 April 2026, under the first past the post electoral system by postal vote.
Issue of voting documents
Voting documents will be posted to electors of the Papatoetoe Subdivision of the Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board from Monday 9 March until Saturday 21 March 2026. Please check your letter box during this period to ensure this is received.
Return of voting documents
Voting documents must be returned no later than noon, Thursday 9 April 2026 to the electoral officer, Auckland Council.
Voting documents can be returned by post, or hand-delivered during normal business hours from Monday 9 March 2026 to the following locations:
- Papatoetoe War Memorial Library, 30 Wallace Road, Papatoetoe
- Manukau Library, 3 Osterley Way, Manukau
- the Electoral Office, Level 2, 198 Federal Street, Auckland.

Special voting
Special voting in terms of the Local Electoral Regulations 2001 may be exercised at the above times at the following locations:
