Mark GRAHAM

Candidate for Albert-Eden Local Board (Maungawhau Subdivision)

City Vision

Candidate statement

My family has been part of Maungawhau for generations, and I've lived in both Mt Eden and Kingsland. I went to Auckland Grammar, studied at Boston University while representing New Zealand at the Olympics, and later earned degrees in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Auckland. I ran businesses for 20+ years and helped lead projects like bringing movies to Waiheke and saving special trees in Western Springs. I've organised local weeding bees, worked with council and iwi, pushed for safer streets, and supported better housing - always with a focus on spending wisely and doing what's right for the community. I won't waste your money. I'll work hard to make sure our neighbourhoods are safe, green, and welcoming. I may not live on your street, but I care deeply about your area - and I'll prove it. Please vote for me and the City Vision team.
