Candidate statement
I have served on the local board for three years, and it’s been an honour to represent the Bays. I’m proud of my successes to date: delivering community safety and emergency preparedness; the Board lead for establishing three local emergency response groups and hubs; and enhancing town safety. I’m also Chair of North Shore Neighbourhood Support, working hard to reduce crime and create safe and strong communities in our area. We affiliate with a Safety Network established by the Police. Members include Community Patrol, Māori and Pacifica Wardens, AT Safety and Blue Light. My wife and I have lived in Browns Bay since 2011 and started a gym in 2012. You may remember me during lockdown working security at New World Browns Bay to spread the joy during a difficult time. I’m a passionate advocate and deliverer of safe, vibrant and connected neighbourhoods. Vote ‘Backing the Bays’ for strong representation
