My name is Don Allan, and I'm standing for re-election to the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board representing Maungakiekie. As a current board member and a serving member of the New Zealand Police, I bring both experience and a strong commitment to keeping our communities safe, connected, and thriving. With firsthand experience in community safety, youth development, and public service, I bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to local issues. Over the past term, I've supported initiatives that improve our parks, public spaces, transport access, and youth opportunities - always putting the needs of our community first. Onehunga is a vibrant and diverse place, and I'm committed to ensuring everyone has a voice in decisions that shape our neighbourhood. If re-elected, I will continue working hard for a safe, connected, and resilient community we can all be proud of. Vote Don Allan and C&R.
