Mayoral candidate Wakeman has last lived on the North Shore. Wakeman did his commercial pilot's license at Ardmore Airport. Worked as a contract pilot in Singapore. 21/09/17 Wakeman took a pipeline resolution to the Auckland Airport AGM. Wakeman complained to TVNZ, BSA, RNZ. Approximately 2 million Ukranian and Russians dead. Approximately 80% of the deaths in WW2 were Russian and Chinese. Israel is breaching international law by starving Palestinians to death. USA must recognise Palestine in the UN, stop supplying funding and weapons to Israel. NZ Government must follow international law not enabling genocide. Questioning funding, of the Five Eyes spy network. Spending more money on defence when Palestinians, women and children are being killed, starved, bombed, shot with insufficient housing in NZ is unacceptable. RBNZ debt free money. Wakeman opposes the fluoridation of water as it raises serious mental health questions. Accountability is needed for Auckland's water.
Members of Parliment need to direct the RBNZ to create debt free money to fund housing and infrastructure, to assist Local and central Government immediately. We the people also have financial challenges that cannot be solved by totally relying on private banks to create approx'' 98% of their money as debt. Governments & people paying interest of mostly created money is financially unsustainable. Not PPPs. By voting Wakeman as Mayor of Auckland and/or Christchurch, is supporting changing this.
Gained Airline Transport Pilots Licence. Flew international passenger Jets while living in Singapore. Wakeman has many experiences, from living in Auckland ,Tauranga, Christchurch and Sydney. You may do a Youtube search Interview Guy Mc Pherson Peter Wakeman. This was filmed in Christchurch with Wakeman as the interviewer. Wakeman first stood for Parliment in 1993 when Winston Peters resigned from Parliament. Wakeman will challenge the system to come up with better solutions with transparency.
Aucklands current plans to have nearly 2.5 million within the next 30 years. So more traffic is planned, therefore increased driving times. Then spending more than 600 billion on infrastructure. Selling Assets is not wise. Accountability and transparency needs solutions of Council information, being available to download without the need to go through the Official Information Act.To achieve better performance this is a must. More Water accountability is needed locally not forced fluoridation.
As Mayor I do not want to state any position that would prohibit me from participating in voting on such matters. I've used the train , bus , car , taxi and walked as well as taken a plane. Carparking and traffic jams has made me appreciate the speed of public transport using the bus. The air is nicer to breath when we had lock down with less vehicles on the road. The issue is funding and I have already mentioned the need for the RBNZ to create debt free money for local and central Government.
The previous policies took away opportunities for collecting storm water and putting it on the garden. Once again this is a funding issue which needs the assistance of central Government to direct the RBNZ to create debt free money for local Government to catch up with infrastructure.
As Mayor I do not want to state any position that would prohibit me from participating in voting on such matters. With climate change it shows the importance of having good drainage to avoid flooding. Currently I believe Retirement villages are able to do developments without the same costs with respect to older occupiers while the younger people cannot purchase a place to live in with similar economies of scale due to age restrictions for retirement villages. Singapore housing is better planned
Auckland is not a National park unlike other parts of NZ that have volcanos in them. These volcanos make Auckland susceptible for future eruptions. Green spaces are very important for people to spend time in for their Mental wellbeing. With respect to Biodiversity , it would be great to have more fruit forests as pretty plants cannot always feed us. Recent sub- divisions taking away food growing area's is very disappointing as it is a requirement for all of us to eat at an affordable price.
Some members of the community canbe pro-active in speaking to their Neighbours and having their phone numbers in order to support each other. My view is the Government is monitoring us along with private enterprise buying and selling our data. The idea that Neighbours spoke more to one another rather than using their electronic devices improved and supported our community in years passed. By turning our devices off, we get better sleep and can interact with one another better for our wellbeing.
First Labour Government created debt free money to fund housing which provided low cost State housing. Owning or Renting or Sharing a home is already unaffordable for most. The Government taxes of 15% tax on buying a new home, electricity, food, health and everything else is taking too much money out of circulation. This adds to our cost of living. The central Government needs Public opinion to force change of our taxation system from GST goods and services to FTT financial transaction tax.
We need better media investigations to see accountable outcomes for us all. Due to busy lives and time constraints, it is differcult for most people to be informed with what’s happening. The best long term solutions need to be found online but the difficulty of algorithms and AI needs to show references for better accountability. The Auckland Council previously sold some of Auckland Port and bought it back with Government help. Not selling some of Auckland Port means it can help in emergencies
