My skill sets match the role, I work in frontier engineering as a product developer, the skills are essential to do with the core roles of council function, which are; technology and density retro-adaptation, city maintenance, city metrics, city ordinance and stemming from these sciences are the city civics. I think I do want to be mayor, I am happy to shoulder the council declines in these sciences, the debt, and to really enjoy hard but good work, with rapid advancement of city functioning.
I think my best skill is to know what will fly and what won't.
Three of top the five issues for the city for sure are: Technology and density retro-adaptation. Retro fitting is a large and precision task, ask builders the cost, effort and time to retro repair a house compared to the price of starting from new. Alcohol and drug harm, haphazard availability, mixed with 18th century acts of parliament combined with increasingly constrained living for Auckland inhabitants. Not a role of council but can something be done? Lacking of left brained direction
Implementation of a touch of genius in the sciences of transportation metrics is an instant relief. A precision second bridge crossing is an interesting project, starting day 1 of the new council. Precision prioritisation of the list of transportation constrains is key. Carparking buildings at the entry points to the city prevent cars driving all through the CBD. The 'small business circumference policy' is the single largest economic gain and traffic decongestant for the city, on website.
These are part of the following sciences of: water reticulation, hydro-dynamics, volumetrics, hydrostatics, the geographical flooding aspect, the drainage grid and the piped drainage matrix. Working partly in hydro-dynamics, I give myself an extremely high score in most of these sciences 9's and 10's.
It has become a huge giant messy mess mess. Of which I will enjoy spending much of the rest of my working life entangling and making better than ever seen.
It is a technology problem to solve. It has been a lot of years and money of failed attempts. I am working on a technology called the gorse gun, also another concept phase technology called the Bot Trap. These technologies will likely tidy up the issues and then they will be gone away, so we can get on with doing other things.
City civics are a facet of science of Auckland Council. I will ensure the standard is absolutely expert level. People working in this arm of council will be those of genius level in the social sciences.
