My principal place of residence is not in the Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board (Papatoetoe Subdivision) area.
I’m Paramjeet Singh, also known as Jeet Singh, a long-standing Papatoetoe resident, local business owner, and former Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board member.
Papatoetoe has been my home since the 1990s, where I’ve raised my family, built a small business, and remained deeply connected to the community. For over 20 years, I’ve owned and operated Printz Centre in Papatoetoe, supporting local residents, small businesses, and community organisations.
I’ve actively served through groups including the Hunters Corner Town Centre Society, Rotary, Crime Watch Papatoetoe Patrol, Auckland Multicultural Council, and the Indian Association Manukau.
As a former board member, I focused on practical solutions - cleaner streets, safer neighbourhoods, and strong community engagement. I believe in old-fashioned values: honesty, fairness, and accountability. I stand for honest leadership, strong local businesses, safer streets, and a Papatoetoe where community comes before politics.
I am standing for the Ōtara–Papatoetoe Local Board because this community has been my home and workplace for over 20 years. As a long-time business operator. I understand the challenges facing families and local businesses. I will focus on safer streets stronger town centres, and practical leadership. I am committed to integrity, accountability and ensuring our community’s voice is heard and respected. Together we can build a stronger future.
With over 20 years running a business in Papatoetoe. I bring proven leadership financial management and practical decision-making skills. I am actively involved in community service through Auckland Multi Ethnic Inc. Hunter Corner Business Association and Rotary. I value strong communication cultural inclusiveness integrity and accountability. My resilience work ethic and problem-solving ability enable me to deliver balanced responsible outcomes for our community.
My top priorities are community safety, local business support and inclusive engagement. I will advocate for safer streets cleaner public spaces and stronger town centres. With over 20 years in business. I understand the need for practical policies that support growth and jobs. I will ensure transparent communication and work closely with our diverse community so every voice in Ōtara–Papatoetoe is heard respected and represented.
