Candidate for Papatoetoe Subdivision Karl MOKARAKA

My principal place of residence is not in the Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board (Papatoetoe Subdivision) area.

I love our electorate of Papatoetoe-Otara and am a passionate born New Zealander with a strong focus on; Putting Papatoetoe households first, Keeping Papatoetoe decisions local and Keeping Papatoetoe Kiwi.

As a child, I attended Papatoetoe Intermediate and lived under Children’s Social services care in Papatoetoe.

I will bring strong leadership to ensure local decisions will benefit our local community.

I have 25 years experience in the Finance-Credit sector and 20 years of community work, working with youth and local families on the ground. Addressing key local issues like the increase of frequent crime, safety on our streets, the economic recovery and the impact on our local households and businesses.

My vision is making Papatoetoe-Otara the Greatest and the Safest suburbs in Auckland for all families to live and work in.
