My principal place of residence is in the Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board (Papatoetoe Subdivision) area.
I’m Sandeep Saini, a long-time Papatoetoe resident, small business owner, family man, and former Local Board Member. I’ve lived, worked, and raised my family here, and I understand the real challenges our community faces - rising costs, safety concerns, and the need for practical, lasting improvements to our neighbourhoods.
Since 2017, I’ve owned and operated local businesses, supported community initiatives, and worked closely with residents across Papatoetoe and surrounding areas. As a former board member, I’ve seen firsthand what works - and what doesn’t - in local decision-making.
I care deeply about safer streets, better roads, well-maintained parks, and strong support for both youth and seniors. You can count on me to listen, act, and always put our local community first.
Let’s bring back respect, reliability, and real results for Papatoetoe.
I am proud to call Papatoetoe my home. For over eleven years, I’ve run a local business, connecting with families, youth, seniors, and community groups.
I am standing for the Local Board to give back to the community and address real issues like safety, youth opportunities, parks, and local businesses.
Papatoetoe is a vibrant, diverse community. I will listen, act responsibly, and work together with residents to build a stronger, safer, and united community for everyone.
